Our vampire facial treatment begins by drawing a small amount of blood (just like a standard blood test). Plasma is then separated from blood’s other components using a centrifuge machine. This plasma is known as Autologous Conditioned Plasma (ACP). It contains platelets and growth factors which promote a rejuvenating and healing response in your body.
The plasma is concentrated before being re-introduced through injections to the treatment area. PRP is an innovative, non-surgical treatment that can also be combined with dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections to enhance results even further.

Before treatment, you’ll have an in-depth one-to-one consultation giving you the opportunity to ask any questions and raise concerns. During treatment, your Coventry doctor will take a small blood sample – platelets and other growth factors are then separated through a centrifugation process. They are then concentrated and re-introduced to the body by injections to the treatment area.

Adverse reactions are very rare as PRP vampire facial treatment uses the body’s own resources (rather than chemicals or toxins). There may be some sensitivity, swelling and mild bruising where injections have been made.
Results are not immediate as it takes time for the body’s natural responses to generate healing and rejuvenation. Growth factors will gradually stimulate collagen with natural results developing around four weeks after treatment.
